New Delhi Air Quality Index (AQI) : Real-Time Air Pollution Level is High | SC raises concern

Delhi, the capital of India, has seen a massive increase in air pollution in the month of November.

In the reports given by the branch of Centre of Science and Environment, it can be seen that the vehicles running continuously in the highways of capital were contributing a major percentage in the increasing air pollution of Delhi which is around 50%. If this condition goes like this then people will have to face more worst conditions from today as increasing air pollution will lead to the increase in the number of diseases, people will get more affected by the diseases like lung cancer, stroke, ischemic heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and acute lower respiratory infections in children as air pollution is a major reason behind the causing of this diseases.

Decision taken by Gopal Rai

Gopal Rai the environment minister of the Capital of India have taken a decision to organize a meeting with the officials so that they can take an effective method to control the air pollution of Delhi and also for the purpose of safeguarding the people from this critical condition.

Supreme Court’s Decision

Information has been collected from the surveys that the Supreme Court of Delhi is also going to conduct a hearing related to the massive increase in the air pollution of Delhi – NCR today. Construction and demolition activities were also banned by the government for a few days as it is also contributing to the air pollution of Delhi.

Hence we can say that the government of Delhi is taking appropriate Decisions to safeguard the people. So hopefully people will be able to overcome this situation.
