UP Police arrested thieves in Mathura

On Monday, in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, the police have caught three people who have stolen 193 mobile phones; police have retrieved the stolen mobile phone and prize money of more than Rs19 lakh from the accused and arrested them.

According to the information given by the officials the mobile phones that the police have retrieved were looted by the thieves on the border of Uttar Pradesh – Madhya Pradesh from a truck among a lot of 8,990 others in the first week of October, while this truck is transporting the mobile phones from a factory in Greater Noida to Bangalore.

The officials of the Mathura police named Martand Prakash Singh said that they have arrested the thieves on Sunday when they were travelling to Agra for getting rid of the mobile phones by selling them.

The police have identified the name of the thieves one of them is Shahabuddin from Mathura whereas two others were Pawan Kumar and Raju Mandal from Delhi.

Number of thieves arrested and the total cash police have retrieved

The police have also informed that a few months ago they have arrested 18 thieves from the racket who were stealing mobile phones from people and have retrieved a total of 2,767 mobile from them. The total prize of retrieved mobile phone is around Rs2,76,700000 and the police have also retrieved 37,92,000 cash from the thieves that were arrested.
