Coronavirus Omicron increase the number of cases in India

The new variant of COVID 19 causing virus named Omicron was first discovered in South Africa which has a high number of mutants that have now started to spread in our country also.

A few days ago seven people were also suspected to get affected by this virus but only two of them were found to be affected by this virus and both of them were elders. This scenario has already created a threatening environment with regard to the spreading of this 2nd wave in the mind of the citizens of the country.

About The New Cases Detected In the Country

Now 17 more Omicron cases have been detected in some states of the country which has raised the total Omicron cases up to 21. Delhi, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan were the three states from where the new Omicron cases were detected, one case from Delhi, 7 cases from Maharashtra and 9 cases from Rajasthan.

Information Given By the Health Minister Of Delhi

Satyendra Jain the Health Minister of Delhi has given us the Information that till now 17 people from Delhi were tested COVID positive and they were admitted to the LNJP hospital for genome sequencing but only one out of them was found to be an Omicron patient who has returned from Tanzania.

All the necessary precautions were taken by the government but if the 2nd wave goes on spreading like this then the Government authority might impose lockdown on the country again.
