Whatsapp has banned over 20 lakh account in India

In the month of October around 20 lakh, Whatsapp accounts have been banned in India by the management authority of this Meta owned application. Earlier it has also banned around 30.27 lakh WhatsApp accounts in India for breaking its terms and conditions. According to the new IT rules in India (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics code rules 2021) the branch of Whatsapp is releasing monthly reports based on the breaking of their terms and services in India.

Whatsapp has now become the most used application for communication among people at different sites, the people of India were allegedly breaking the rules set by the management authority of the Meta owned company as a result Whatsapp has banned around a total of 50 lakh accounts in India. If the people of India will not stop the grievances then whatsapp might ban all the accounts of India.

How People Were Misusing the Application

Nowadays Whatsapp has become a major platform in India for spreading fake news, fake information with regard to law and riots. The messages of whatsapp were ended to end encrypted but it doesn’t mean that the users can do anything they want like bullying people on social media. Whatsapp has announced that if any particular user will break its terms and conditions then their account will be banned by the management authorities of Whatsapp.
