Anthony Fauci, the top scientist of the US has given his view on the newly discovered variant of COVID causing virus named Omicron which was detected in the South African countries. He has said that this variant of COVID IS not worse than the previous COVID causing virus the symptoms of this strain are mild and it takes almost a week to judge its severity.
The Chief Medical advisor of President Joe Bidden has divided the knowns and unknowns of this new variant by basing upon its transmissibility.
According to the reports provided by the Accumulating Epidemiological data from all over the world it can be assumed that the person which will get affected by this new variant of COVID can get re-infected after getting recovered from the virus so it is necessary for them to make their Immune system strong as much as possible so that they can protect themselves from getting affected by this disease again.
Fauci mentioned the only good thing about this virus, which is it does not cause any serious illness and as a result the number of deaths and hospitalizations were also not increasing and the worst point is that it is highly transmissible.
