Rohit Sharma Replaces Virat Kohli as the Captain of the Match in ODI

Rohit Sharma who was still playing as an opener of the team is now replaced with Virat Kohli as India’s one day captain on Wednesday.

After Virat Kohli relinquished his captaincy of T20I after the 2021 T20 world cup, Rohit Sharma who was the opener of the team took the responsibility of being the captain of the match.  

On Wednesday the all India Senior Selection Committee took a decision to name Mr Rohit Sharma as a captain of the ODI and T20I teams.

This was a very proud moment for the fans of Rohit Sharma all over the country as he has achieved this success by his dedication towards every match he has played for the country. He has always given his best in every match and his performance has always played a major role in the team’s performance for winning the title of the match.

Rohit Sharma was also replaced with Ajinkya Rahane as the vice captain of the test side, Rohit was rested for the home series against New Zealand have now returned to the test side with his fellows KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Mohammad Shammi and Jasprit Bumrah for playing the three tests in South Africa dated on December 26.
