On Friday 17th of December 2021 Kidambi Srikanth became the third person who is able to record his name in men’s singles at the World’s Badminton Championship after Prakash Padukone and B Sai Praneeth have successfully written their name in this list of India.
This day has become very special for the people of India as it was really a great achievement of the country; Srikanth is able to achieve this victory after defeating Mark Caljouw one of the most famous badminton players of Netherland in a match which has lasted for a very short period of time to reach the semi finals.

It was the first time when Srikanth was facing Mark Caljouw in the ground but he has shocked all the audience out there by giving a mesmerizing performance in the match. Srikanth has played so much well that the Dutchman was not even able to score a double digit number in the first round; Srikanth has defeated Mark before the Interval with a score of 11-5.
Srikanth has played even much better in the second round with a score of 11-3, Srikanth haven’t lost his energy till the end and won the 2nd game with a way better score than the first one.
