Cold wave blows over Delhi: Mercury at its lowest of the year 3.2°C

The Indian Meteorological Department has given us the report that nowadays the people of Delhi were facing a very critical condition as the temperature of the former capital of the country is decreasing day by day which is troubling the people very much.

Information given by the IMD

According to the information given by the meteorologists of the country the temperature on Sunday was 7°C which has decreased to around 3 and a half degree celsius that is on Monday the temperature of the city is around 3.2°c, it was also stated by the meteorologists that this is the lowest decrease in the atmospheric pressure this year and it may lasts up to Tuesday.

RK Jenamani’s view on the Temperature Decrease

Rk Jenamani a senior scientist at the Indian Meteorological Department has stated that now the entire north and North West India were getting affected by this cold wave which is because of the speedy icy winds coming from the west, the condition nowadays is so critical for the people of Churu and Sikar in Rajasthan as the temperature of this region has now gone down to negative whereas in Amritsar and Punjab the temperature is near about zero.

The Indian Meteorological Department has also given the information that Delhi might have a light rainfall by the end of this week that is on Saturday and Sunday.
