KS Sethumathavan was the most renowned film director and screenwriter of the Malayalam movie industry and has also directed many super hits in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. He took his last breath on 24th of December 2021 at the age of 90 after suffering from many age related issues for a very long period of time.
During his awesome Journey in the Malayalam movie Industry he has won many awards which include ten National film awards and nine Kerala state film awards. One of his films named Marupakkam which was released in the year 1991 with lead actor Siva Kumar and Radha has won the National film award for Best feature film.

The most renowned director of the Malayalam film industry was born in the year 1931 in Kerala and has started his journey of the film industry as an assistant director of K Ramnath and by his utmost dedication towards his work he has become able to be an independent filmmaker and after this, he has launched his first Malayalam movie named Jnana Sundari another popular creation of his career includes Odayil Ninnu, Anubhavangal Palichakall, Oppol, Aranazhikaneram, and Achanum Bappayum. These movies were one of the most popular films of the Malayalam Cinema.
