The American Academy of Pediatrics has given information that children throughout the world were getting affected in a huge number by this new strain of Covid Causing virus named Omicron.
According to them, around 199,000 children throughout the world have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus and according to the reports of last week 50% of cases have increased throughout the world.
As children are getting affected in a huge number throughout the world the medical authorities must take necessary precautions and have to give approval to the vaccines suitable for treating children suffering from the virus.
Around 378 people between the age group of 0 – 17 were hospitalized in the week due to COVID which is an average of a total of 7 days whereas in the prior week a 66.1 percent increase in the COVID tally was seen which is the highest ever figure reported.
The Hong Kong based lab testing of tissue samples has shown that this COVID causing variant replicates 70 times faster than the previous strains in the human Bronchi. This leads to its fast transmissibility throughout the whole population.
