According to the information from the reporters, the military authority of China and India held a meeting over the 14th round of military talks based on the Hot Spring Agenda at the Chinese side of the Line of Actual Control in the Eastern Ladakh at the Chushul Moldo Border Point.
Reason behind the meeting between India and China
The Sources of the security forces have mentioned the details that this meeting was held by the military authorities for the purpose of resolving the military standoff which has been remaining in the friction points of Eastern Ladakh from the last 20 months.
Information about the persons who has headed the team of both the Countries in the meeting
LT Gen Anindya Sen. Gupta who was newly appointed as the Commander of the Leh Based 14 Corps has headed the team India in the meeting whereas Maj Gen Yang Lin the Chief of the South Xinjiang Military District has headed the Chinese team in the meeting.
The series of meetings between the Military authority of both the countries has started in the year 2020 due to the 20-month standoff between the two countries, for the purpose of seeking to address issues linked with disengagement from the pending friction points along with the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the region.
