Leh: The time to send a strong message to China has come and India must have to take back the Aksai Chin region occupied by the force of Chinese since 1962 war. This statement was said by the BJP leader Jamyang Tsering Namgyal told NDTV on the Thursday morning.
People of the Ladakh region, where 20 soldiers of the Indian Army including one Colonel died in the clash with the Chinese troops wants a “one-time solution”, Mr Namgyal added. He also said pointing to Narendra Modi that his response was quite similar to the words he addresses before the Indian forces that carried out surgical strikes against the Pakistani terrorist launch pad in 2016 Uri attack.

Namgyal also said that the people of Ladakh are standing with the army and the country and also will stand-by the decisions made by the government as they want a one-time solution. It is not only the people of Ladakh but the entire country wants a one-time solution, he added.
In addition, Namgyal said that we don’t want our soldiers to lose their lives repeatedly and the disturbances to the life of the civilians along the border and this is the main reason that we want a one-time solution to end this dispute.
It has remained as a habit of Chinese to cheat. They have cheated us since 1962. They have cheated India not only once but hundreds of times. In the 1962 war, Chinese took 37,244 sq. km from us and that now is known as the Aksai Chin which feels strange. Perhaps, it is not Aksai Chin but China-Occupied Indian Territory, Namgyal added.
“It will always remain a part of claim that China-occupied Ladakh. People from all across the country question whether it is possible to take it back from China. Yes, of course I don’t consider that easy but I also doesn’t consider it impossible. We have seen the clashes and with the sacrifice of our soldiers, the time has come to take back the Aksai Chin”, he added. He also warned China for a strong response from the Indian side over this week of violence because India is a peace-loving country and is capable of giving befitting reply, if provoked. For the latest updates, stay tuned with The TLC News.
