Galwan River-Bed saw Tarpaulins, 16 Chinese Camps near LAC

New Delhi: By the help of Satellite images of the Galwan Valley, black tarpaulins were seen on the embankment of the River-Bed. It is believed to be the position of Chinese around the Line of Actual Control (LAC) region.

The Chinese also show their presence with the positioning of not less than 16 camps within 9 kilometers on the LAC region. The satellite image as shown clearly indicates that China hasn’t disengaged the area and is continuing to build massive troops strengths- a kind of direct threat to the Indian Army operating on the Actual Line of Control (LAC). In the military talk between the Lieutenant General Ranked Officers on June 22, both China and India had agreed to de-escalate the areas in Ladakh.

The new images procured by Planet Labs indicates further Chinese consolidation in the Galwan Valley. On June 15, 20 of our Indian Soldiers including a Colonel were martyred in Chinese face-off. Indian Army believes that Chinese suffered more than 45 casualties during the late-night attack.

The new image by the satellite also shows the Galwan River with clear signs of damage visibility and a stone wall constructed by Indian Army across the Galwan River. No images of Indian Army Camps are being shown in the image. The news channels are there to talk with the army personnel and will update the latest news shortly.

The Galwan Valley widely reports to the intrusions of Chinese across the LAC and is of critical importance to the Indian Defence System. At the sharp turns of the Galwan River, Chinese troops are enable to look nearby Indian positions in the area.

The image of June 25 and 26 also indicates the extent of Chinese build up for the first time with hundreds of trucks, heavy earthmovers, off-road vehicles, and bulldozers.

The earth moving equipments are used to broad the valley and construct culverts across the flowing Galwan and are enabling road construction. Overall the main concept of the Chinese intrusion is building up the infrastructure along the Line of Actual Control.

In the strong statement, India’s Ambassador warned China not to alter the status quo by restoring the force and let the peace exist along the LAC as per the bilateral agreement.
