The Russian Scientists have launched a statement which is featuring information about a massive asteroid which is going to pass very close to the Earth Surface by the end of this decade.
About the Asteroid Apophis
It was mentioned by the scientists of Russia that this asteroid has greater force than the largest nuclear bomb that exist on the Earth and also stated that this asteroid was named after a Greek God is going to be very close from the earth surface at the end of this Decade which is around April 2029.
About the report given by Sputnik
The News Agency of Sputnik has reported that the current satellites in the space which beam our channels was at a distance of around 39,000 km from the earth surface and it was also estimated by the scientists that the Apophis is also going to be close at the same distance that is around 24,00 miles from the surface of the earth at the Year 2029.
Declaration given by NASA regarding the Asteroid
The massive Asteroid named Apophis was first spotted by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration in the Year 2004. NASA has given the declaration that this massive Asteroid is going to be very disastrous for the Earth if it collides with the Earth Surface. The Scientists have clearly mentioned that the Apophis is not expected to have a collision with the Earth Surface but is going to pass very close to the Earth Surface.
