The most celebrated cricket league IPL(Indian Premier League) has been suspended due to horrible pandemic situation occurred due to Covid-19 and many players are being tested positive, Rajeev Shukla vice-president of BCCI has issued a statement to a news agency ANI saying.

The leagues chairman Brijesh Patel also confirmed the news by issuing a statement to PTI.
“The tournament has been suspended indefinitely. We will try to conduct the in the next available than royals dates but this month its unlikely to happen” said Patel.
This decision came after SunRisers Hydrabad player Wriddhiman Saha was found affected with Covid-19 virus this Tuesday.
The member of the team management said “yes WriddhimanSaha has been tested positive for the coronavirus. Our whole team is now under isolation and there are no other positive reports, rest are all negative”

The BCCI presented a release on similar cases in the KKR team and said “Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier are found to be tested positive in the third round of testing in the last four days. All other team members have found to be negative for coronavirus”.
