Covid Vaccination for Teenagers starts from Today

The children’s between the age group of 15 – 18 who were yet to be vaccinated by any kind of vaccines will start getting their first dose of Covid Vaccine from today.

The Decision taken by the Government of India to provide vaccines to the teenagers of the Country has come into action from Today around 8 lakh teens have registered their name on the government Cowin Portal and will start getting their dose of Covaxin from Today.

This decision is going to play a very important role in having a control over the spread of the new variant of Covid named Omicron as now the majority of Children’s will lose the Probability of getting affected by the virus as they will get vaccinated now. For the purpose of providing vaccines to teens, a large number of schools and other educational institutions will be used as vaccination centers.

The Union Health Ministry has further stated that only doses of Covaxin will be given to the teenagers of the country and the additional doses will be sent to the states and the Union Territories.

Railways earned around Rs 500 crore was earned from the Tatkal Tickets in 2021 an RTI reply revealed

According to the Information collected from some reports, it was cleared that the Indian Railways have earned an amount of Rs 403 Crore from the Tatkal tickets and 119 crores from the premium Tatkal tickets along with Rs 511 crore from the dynamic fares from the year 2020 – 21. Effect of the Omicron on Children Throughout the world

The American Academy of Pediatrics has given information that children throughout the world were getting affected in a huge number by this new strain of Covid Causing virus named Omicron.

According to them, around 199,000 children throughout the world have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus and according to the reports of last week 50% of cases have increased throughout the world.

As children are getting affected in a huge number throughout the world the medical authorities must take necessary precautions and have to give approval to the vaccines suitable for treating children suffering from the virus.

Around 378 people between the age group of 0 – 17 were hospitalized in the week due to COVID which is an average of a total of 7 days whereas in the prior week a 66.1 percent increase in the COVID tally was seen which is the highest ever figure reported.

The Hong Kong based lab testing of tissue samples has shown that this COVID causing variant replicates 70 times faster than the previous strains in the human Bronchi. This leads to its fast transmissibility throughout the whole population.

PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of Major Dhyan Chand Sports University in Meerut

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Meerut located in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday for the purpose of laying the foundation stone of the Major Dhyan Chand Sports University worth Rs 700 crore.

This information was given to the citizens by a notice from the Prime Minister’s Office. The PM is going to visit there at around 1 PM on Sunday to take another step towards his vision of establishing world class sports infrastructure in all parts of the Country.

Facilities that will be available in the University

The University will be provided with all the necessary resources of the modern and state of the art sports infrastructure like the synthetic hockey ground, Football ground, Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, Kabaddi ground, Lawn Tennis Court, Gymnasium Hall, Synthetic Running Stadium, Swimming Pool, Multipurpose Hall and a Cycling Velodrome the Sports University will be built at the Salawa and Kaili Villages of Sardhana town located at Meerut.

This project is going to play a major role in developing the sports sector of the country as many of the sports lovers will get a field where they will be able to furnish the talent they have with regard to various kinds of sports.

Third Arihant Class nuclear powered submarine launched in Visakhapatnam

From the Visakhapatnam Ship Building Centre, the UK based Jane’s Defense weekly through satellite Imagery has published a report featuring the information about the Submarine Launched by the Indian Government silently which is the third Arihant Class Nuclear Powered Submarine launched at the Secretive Ship Building Centre {SCB} in Visakhapatnam.

On 29th of December 2021 the magazine has published a report in which the details was clearly mentioned that the S4 Submersible Ballistic Nuclear Submarine was launched on 23rd of November 2021 and was replaced near a “fitting out wharf” which was recently occupied by the INS Arihant another nuclear armed missile submarine. According to the reports Published in Janes. This missile submarine named Arighat was launched in the month of November in the year 2014 and was waiting for a commission which was delayed because of the critical condition created by this Ongoing Pandemic.

Specifications of the submarine

The Janes Defense weekly has also mentioned that the new Submarine S4 is quite bigger than the INS Arihant and is able to carry a number of 8 K -4 Ballistic Missiles.  The approximate weight of the submarine launched named S4 SSBN was around 7,000 tonnes with a load waterline measurement of 125.4m.

68 year old man was given 20 years of imprisonment for raping a girl

The convict of a rape case named Krishnan Kutty was given imprisonment for a period of 20 years for raping a 15 year old girl in the Year 2015.

The court named {Pocso} A Protection Of Children From Sexual Offences located at Thrissur in Kerala has given this punishment to the convict by setting a perfect example for the rapists as from now on they will get afraid before doing this kind of crime by thinking about the punishment given to this rapist. The court has also declared that this kind of person does not deserve any kind of sympathy and has also assured that they will not give parole to the convict.

The convict also has to pay an amount of Rs 1.50 lakh to the girl who has suffered through the incident as the court has imposed this fine on him and the girl was also made eligible for compensation through the Legal Service Authority.

She gave birth to a baby at the age of 16 and Kutty was confirmed as the father of the child.

Hence we can say that our laws were getting strict towards the rapists which might decrease the number of rapists in the country.
