Coronavirus Omicron increase the number of cases in India

The new variant of COVID 19 causing virus named Omicron was first discovered in South Africa which has a high number of mutants that have now started to spread in our country also.

A few days ago seven people were also suspected to get affected by this virus but only two of them were found to be affected by this virus and both of them were elders. This scenario has already created a threatening environment with regard to the spreading of this 2nd wave in the mind of the citizens of the country.

About The New Cases Detected In the Country

Now 17 more Omicron cases have been detected in some states of the country which has raised the total Omicron cases up to 21. Delhi, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan were the three states from where the new Omicron cases were detected, one case from Delhi, 7 cases from Maharashtra and 9 cases from Rajasthan.

Information Given By the Health Minister Of Delhi

Satyendra Jain the Health Minister of Delhi has given us the Information that till now 17 people from Delhi were tested COVID positive and they were admitted to the LNJP hospital for genome sequencing but only one out of them was found to be an Omicron patient who has returned from Tanzania.

All the necessary precautions were taken by the government but if the 2nd wave goes on spreading like this then the Government authority might impose lockdown on the country again.

Extension of the deadline for submitting the life certificate for pensioners

The central government of the country has given us the information that for all the retired pensioners of the country the date of submitting the life certificate which is also known as the Jeevan Pramaan Patra has been extended up to 31st December. This decision was taken for the purpose of providing safety to the elders as now a threatening environment was created among the people of the country due to the new variant of COVID 19.

In view of the current pandemic condition in various states of the country the decision of extending the submission of life certificate is worth it, because if in this critical condition the elders have to stay in a long queue for the purpose of submitting their life certificates then it might increase the number of covid positive patients as the immune system of elders is not much strong as compare to the younger ones so it’s easy for the virus to affect the individual.

Now all the pensioners of the central government can submit their life certificates till 31st December 2021. It was also added by the department that during the extended period the pension of the pensioners will be continued by the Pension Disturbing Authorities uninterrupted.

After Omicron Cases Confirmed, “Missing” Passengers A Worry | Suspected Omicron cases in Delhi

Dr. Suresh Kumar, Medical director of LNJP Hospital has informed that at the International airport of Delhi during the ongoing activities of the travel rules imposed on the International travelers the authority which was looking over it have informed that 12 Omicron cases were suspected on the site and were referred to the LNJP hospital. Dr. Suresh Kumar who was treating the COVID positive patients at LNJP hospital said that out of the 12 suspected cases 8 were detected COVID positive in their RT– PCR report while one has sore throat, headache and low grade fever.

The authorities of the LNJP hospital have given the information that the samples of the suspected individual were sent for genome sequencing to check if they were really infected with the Omicron variant.

This news has really created a threatening environment among the individuals as some days ago 2 people were already found affected by the new variant of COVID 19 named Omicron in Karnataka and now 12 were suspected which indicates that this 2nd wave has started spreading in our country.

Now if the government will not take necessary precautions for safeguarding the people of the country. Then the condition might get worse as earlier as more people will get affected and the death rate of the people might increase.

First Omicron Case Detected In India

According to the information given by the Union Health Ministry of India; on Thursday 2 fresh cases of the new variant of COVID 19 named Omicron has been detected in Karnataka and also for the first time in India.
