Asset Recovery will be Done like Uttar Pradesh – Karnataka Minister

Bengaluru (Karnataka): The violence in Bangalure last evening in which 3 person were shot dead in the police firing, was “planned”, Karnataka Minister CT Ravi told the reporters today.

The Minister said that the state would recover the costs of the assets destroyed like Uttar Pradesh which arose after the clash in Bengaluru and the same over the Citizenship Amendment Act earlier.

While the police are out of the ground zero when the violence started and a political battle is on the way between the Ruling Party and the Congress Party. Mr Ravi weighed in his version of events and a warning that the right was planned. Petrol bombs and stones were used in the process of destruction of the properties. Over 300 vehicles were burnt, he told the reporters.

We have the suspects and we will confirm after the ongoing investigation and we will also recover the assets from the rioters like in Uttar Pradesh, the Minister added.

Violence had started at KG Halli and the neighbouring DJ Halli in the eastern part of the city, where the house of the Congress MLA and two police stations were attacked. Around 200 bikes were inside DJ Halli Police Station in the basement were set to fire and the building was also damaged in the violence. Three people were shot dead when the police opened fire to control the mob. Many policemen were injured, the officers said.

The provocation was done by a Facebook post a man closely related to the Congress MLA Mr. Srinivas Murthy. Through the morning, many leaders and the ministers have repeatedly sent out messages of peace.

Curfew has been introduced in the violence-hit areas that have narrow crowded roads and a relatively high Muslim population residents. The leaders from the Muslim-Community met the Police Commissioner Kamal Pant today and told him that the police were slow to act on the complaints about the social media post which found offensive.

The BJP party uses the hashtag #CongressSupportsRiots, claiming that the Congress Party has blamed the police instead of the rioters. The former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that the people are trying to portray his statement that both Hindu-Muslim should maintain peace.

Case Filed Against the Congress Leader, Posting the Tampered Picture of PM Narendra Modi

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A case has been filed against the Congress working president of Madhya Pradesh Jitu Patwari for allegedly tweeting a doctored picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. BJP claimed that the picture hurt the dignity of the PM and the religious sentiments of Hindus.

In the picture, posted by Mr. Patwari, the PM is seen wearing a mask and holding a bowl during the Bhumi Pujan ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on August 5.

Accompanying the image, there was a tweet in Hindi, that The Country’s business, economy, income, declining status of farmers, employment, jobs, labourers and their struggle are therefore subjected to television debates, because we will walk with the bowl.

Chhatripura Police Station in-charge Pawan Singhal said that Mr. Patwari has been booked under section 188 (disobedience to order issued by the public servant) and section 464 (making false electronic records) of Indian Penal Code (IPC) on the complaint registered by the city BJP President Gaurav Randavi.

Indore Lok Sabha Member of Parliament (MP) Mr. Shankar Lalwani and the local leaders expressed displeasure on the tweet and gave a memorandum and registered a complaint to DGP Harinarayanachari Mishra. They said that “Mr. Patwari has not only the dignity of the Prime Minister but also hurt the religious sentiments of the Hindus”.

While Mr. Patwari, higher education Minister, and MLA fro Rau deleted the image later, but it didn’t stop the BJP leaders ridiculing him for spelling errors in his Hindi tweet.

The leaders from BJP said that Congress had made someone like Patwari, who can’t get Hindi spellings correct, as the states higher education Minister.

PM to Give “An Outline for Self-Reliant India” on Independence Day: said, Rajnath Singh

New Delhi (India): The Prime Minister Narendra Modi will present an outline for a self-reliant (atma-nirbhar Bharat) in order to address his nation from the ramparts of Red Fort on the Independence Day, August 15. the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said.

The Defence Minister also added that various departments and the ministries are working to implement PM Modi’s initiative for Self-Reliant India and this is an attempt to give the fresh dimensions to Mahatma Gandhi’s “Swadeshi”.

Rajnath Singh was speaking in an online event which was organised to pay tributes to the revolutionary freedom fighter Udham Singh. In his talk about the “atmanirbhar” initiative, he said that this pandemic coronavirus has shown that a country will not be able to protect its sovereignty if the country is not self-reliant and our Government will not allow it to harm the country’s self-respect and the sovereignty at any cost.

On referring to the defence ministry’s decision to ban the import of 101 military platform and weapons, Mr. Singh said that tough and major decisions are taken to promote self-reliancy in the defence production and later programmes.

He said that big weapons will now be produced by India and the country will look to make it a hub for defence manufacturing making the exports also. In a major push to self-reliant in the domestic defence industry, Rajnath Singh announced the restriction imports of 101 military platforms and weapons which includes light combat helicopters, conventional submarines, transport air crafts, and cruise missiles by 2024.

India, China: General-Level Talk on the Border Disengagement

India, China military-level talks end on positive trajectory.

New Delhi (India): There is a talk between the senior army commanders of China and India on Saturday to the disengagement process along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) at the number of friction points including the Depsang in eastern Ladakh and Daulat Baig Oldi, people that are familiar with the developments as said.

The General-Level talks are being held in Daulat Baig Oldi area on the Chinese side LAC, the sources said. The meeting comes a week after the armies held the 5th round of Corps commander-level (Lieutenant General) discussions to disengagement process.

At the military talks, the Indian sides are insisting on the complete disengagement of the Chineses troops at the earliest possible and the immediate restoration of the status quo ante in the areas of eastern Ladakh in the starting of 5th May when the stand-off clash between the two armies in Pangong.

The Chinese Army had pulled back from the Galwan Valley and also from other frictional points but the withdrawal of the troops has not cleared the finger areas in Pangong Tso, cand the area of Depsang. according to the sources.

India is continuously insisting that China must withdraw the forces from areas between finger Four to Eight.

The process of disengagement of the Chinese troops began from July 6th, a day after two hours of telephonic conversation between the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to bring down the tensions on LAC. Both side had hold General-Talks in the month of May and June to have some negotiations.

Upon considering the situation on the ground, the Indian Army and The India Air Force have decided to maintain a high level of operational readiness along LAC in Ladakh, North Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, and Uttrakhand till the satisfactory resolution has arrived.

General Manoj Mukund Narvane, the Army Chief has conveyed the message to all the senior commanders, overseeing the operation of the frontline information along the LAC, to maintain the high level of alertness and maintain aggressive posturing.

The Indian army has already made a detailed plan to maintain the current strength of the troop and the weapons along LAC during harsh winter months and the other sensitive areas along LAC.

Union Minister Amit Shah Tested Positive for COVID-19; Attended Cabinet Meetings on Wednesday

New Delhi (India): the Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah has been tested positive for COVID-19 pandemic which has infected more than 17 lakh 50 thousand people in the country. According to the sources, he has been admitted to Medanta Hospital which is located in Gurugram, Haryana. In the tweet, Home Minister said that “he has been tested positive, but his health is fine and with the advice of the doctors, he is being hospitalised”. He also requested all those who have came in contact with him in the last few days to isolate themselves and get the inquiry done.
The sources also said that extensive tracing will be done and anyone who came in contact with the Home Minister will have to self-isolate.

On Wednesday, Mr. Shah has taken part in the cabinet meeting in which all the top ministers were present including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. All of the safety norms, including the social distancing, was followed at this crucial meet where the new policy of education was approved.

According to the sources, strict protocols were followed at PM’s official residence, where the cabinet meeting was held. Most of the PM Modi’s meetings were held online, but cabinet meeting was not a part of it. It cannot be done virtually.

I am advised by the doctors to confine myself and stay away from the family members for the next few days with a test to be done very soon. 86 Death from Toxic Liquor, 7 Excise Officials, and 6 Cops Suspended: Punjab

Chandigarh: 86 people lost their life in the consequence of the Congress-led government’s patronage to its ministers, leaders, and MLAs for allegedly carrying illegal liquor trade. Akali Dal Sukhbir Singh Badal, demanding Chief Minister Amarinder Singh’s resignation, on Saturday.

This statement came after the death count sharply increased in the day as 48 more died after consuming toxic liquor.

There is a total arrest of 25 people so far while Caption Amarinder Singh warned of taking strict actions if anyone involved in the case. So far, seven excise officials and six policemen have been suspended.

In response to Mr. Badal, the CM asked him, not to “politicise the tragedy”, saying that this incident had happened under Akali Dal BJP regime too, listing the tragedies of 2012 and 2016 in Gurdaspur and Batala. Several lives were lost in those cases also and no FIR was registered in Batala incident and no actions were taken against the accused ones.

Sixty-three deaths were reported from Tarn Taran district, 11 in Gurudaspur’s Batala, and 12 in Amritsar since Wednesday, the officials said.
The first death was reported in Muchhal (Amritsar) village on Wednesday evening. Then 38 people died, according to the officials, by Friday night. By Saturday night, the count rose to 48 deaths during the day.

Officials in Chandigarh are still not able to say, how many people were still admitted in the hospital after drinking the illegal liquor. The police have done several raids to catch the culprits. After 8 arrests, they caught 17 more people covering upto 100 raids in the three districts. The raiding officials have seized large quantities of “lahan”- the raw material for making various types of liquor from various dhabas around Shambhu Border, Rajpura, and Patiala, DGP Dinkar Gupta said.

India Sees High Jump in COVID 19 in 1 Day- Ranking 5th in World Death Reports:

New Delhi (India): It has been reported anew record of a surge in coronavirus cases this morning as 55,000+ fresh infections were registered in the past 24 hours. The Union Health Ministery said, over 6.42 lakhs samples were tested on Thursday, which seems to be the highest recorded samples in a day since the starting of the pandemic COVIS-19. The country’s total count of COVID cases has crossed 16 lakh, just three days crossing 15 lakh mark.

This is the second consecutive day, that more than 50,000 new reports have been submitted. Moreover, more than 10.58 lakh patients have been recovered and the recovery rate stood at 64.54% this morning. A total of 779 patients have died since yesterday counting the total deaths to 35,747 which stands at 5th highest deaths in the world.

Here are the TOP developments on COVID-19 cases in India:

  1. It took 183 days to cross that cases to 16 lakhs. Kerala has reported COVID-19 patients on January 30. India crossed the landmark in COVID cases 110 days later.
  2. More than 60% of total reports and 50% of total deaths have been reported in the month of July. The massive hike was reported after the world’s strictest lockdown which was announced in the month of March to slow down the infection.
  3. India has tested a total of 1,88,32,970 samples till date. The positivity rate is at 8.57% and this is quite low with a country having 130 crore people.
  4. At 3.6%, India’s rate of increase in the cases is double than 1.6% in the USA and higher than Brazil’s 2.3%.
  5. Maharshtra reported the highest fresh case report on Thursday with 11,000 taking the tally to 4,11,798 cases and it is followed by Tamil Nadu (2,39,978 cases), and Delhi (1,34,403 cases).

“Better Off Because of Right Decision at Right Time”: PM Modi on COVID-19

New Delhi: India is in better position than the other countries regarding the COVID out-break, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said today as the country recorded close to 50,000 new cases. Speaking in a virtual programme to the mark opening of “high throughput” COVID-19 testing are vividly taking place in cities Mumbai, Noida, and Kolkata, Pm said today that the death rate in India is far lesser than any other countries. The recovery rate is far better than any other country, Pm added.

“What India has done with the PPE kits, masks, test kits is just a massive success story. At one point, India hasn’t manufactured a single PPE kit and now it is the second largest manufacturer in the world. Over 3 Lakhs N-95 masks are made in India today and over 1200 manufacturers are making PPE kits within a six months time. We have also estimated over three lakhs of ventilators being produced every year, Pm said.

Prime Minister said that these hi-tech state of testing facilities will boost up the testing capacity and almost 10,000 test can be availed in the state. Mumbai, already has a maximum number of COVID cases in the country and the numbers are drastically increasing in Kolkata. Noida has the biggest testing agency in West UP. An increase in the test in these areas will lead to the detection of the disease early and will help to control the spread of the virus. Prime Minister also added that these labs will not be limited to testing for coronavirus, but also in future they will also be leading tests for Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C, HIV, and Dengue.

Doors are open for Pilot: Congress Sources

New Delhi: Ex-Congress President, Rahul Gandhi is keen to keep the doors open for Sachin Pilot, sources said late this evening- hours after party challenged the leader to stop associating with the BJP by giving up the hospitality of BJP-ruled state. Sources also said that the party has asked the Chief Minister of Rajasthan Mr. Ashok Gehlot to tone down his statements.

Rahul Gandhi has yet no direct contacted with Pilot, though he had spoken to him over the weekend, sources said. Priyanka Gandhi Wadra has contacted Mr. Pilot three times. Party said that it now depends on Pilot as they have no idea about the move of him.


The action of Congress has been keen against the Rajasthan leader, who had been camping in Delhi for the betterment of the weekend. Not only the party has stripped out his post but also proceeded disqualifications in the assembly against him and his loyal MLAs.

Today, Congress Party has softened its tone on Pilot after he declared that he is not joining BJP, but shortly after senior leader Surjewala said that Pilot should stop exchanges with the BJP leaders.

Surjewala said that “we want to convey the message to Mr. Pilot that if you don’t want to go to BJP party, then stop taking their hospitality in Haryana and stop talking to any BJP leader or member”.

Mr. Gehlot made a series of the remarks that reflect the hostilities between the leaders and the allegations on BJP is accused in horse trading, Mr. Pilot being implicated. Gehlot said to the reporters that money was offered of 20 crore and the one who are part of conspiracy are giving clarifications.

The rebel ministers from Pilot’s side questioned Chief Minister Gehlot to tell how much money they were paid to join Congress. There is lot of conspiracy going, said the sources.
