Top 5 Awareness Campaigns that Gone in Vain

U.S. Service members from the Air National Guard, Air Force Reserves, Army, Navy and Marines along with their families participated in the Sexual Assault Prevention Response 5K run at Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Texas, April 18, 2014 to commemorate the SAPR Month awareness. So! Are you aware of the fact that Amazon Rainforest doesn’t exist anymore? Ok, that is not true. But don’t you have knowledge about what the truth is? It is because many of the awareness campaigns works well and raise awareness. But the others, which are mentioned in the list, backfire.

05: The Grey Ribbon for Awareness of Zombies

So folks! Have you seen a yellow ribbon on someone’s sweater recently? You think and answer. Your answer will be, yes! Recently. So do you know what it exactly means! Ah, it could have one of the meanings here mentioned.

This yellow ribbon may be the sign of Diabetes awareness month or may be the sign of brain tumours. The wearer is supporting and creating the awareness for the body-line personality disorders. But, most recently it has been observed, they are raising awareness of Zombies.

04: Seafood, Environment Friendly:

Preaching of the choir is a sad case. Over-fishing is one of the reason and a serious issue, where you consider yourself an eco-warrior. So how to combat this phenomena? First step is to create awareness by putting up stickers on the products that are made from stable seafood population. Does it sounds good! Oh Yes, Ofcourse! According to a research, the people who look for the stickers are the one who already know the problem and the cause of it.

03: Vaccine of Kids and the STD’s they probably get

You cannot opt for your children for any potential fatal disease. Generally all will answer, Yes! They don’t want their children involved in these diseases. Among all the vaccines, there is one very effective vaccines, HPV vaccine. So why only 49% of children between the age 11-17 in US receive this vaccine? It is because it was a bad awareness campaign that didn’t help.

02: Melania Trump being the “Best Campaigner” by Social Media

This was the entire worst decision taken by Melania Trump who really knows, who her Husband is? May her campaign helps to improve the nature of the social media who just aimed on the President Trump and his Tweets.

Mrs. Trump said that the social media has both positive and negative effect on our children. But most of the time, it is taken in negative ways.

01: Lush taken on the Police

This could be the most controversial entry above the whole documentary. Toiletry and cosmetics company Lush has a history of taking the ethical stances. They generally stands to be supportive on environmental issues, transgender, and animal welfares. One can disagree with their opinions, but they stand on to certain principles. On the other side, they also used to sell bath bombs. Why should we take care of their thought or being preached by the company who sell Cream Body Lotion?

Can the New Cheaper insulin Product Help the Community of Diabetes

  • The Food and Drug Administration has approved the new biosimilar Insulin for the people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
  • This new drug, Semglee is used as another option for the people consuming long-injectable insulins like Lantus.
  • Experts believe that this new product does not give a substantial impact on the price of insulin.

The long-injectable insulins such as Lantus used for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetic people will soon have potentially cheaper insulin. Semglee, a new long-acting insulin has been recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Semglee is perhaps a biosimilar insulin glargine, that it can be interchanged with other insulin products such as Toujeo, Lantus, and Basaglar.

“Biosimilars are just like generics for the biologics”, said by Joanna Lewis, MBA, PharmD, a pharmacist in Florida. There is no replica of their molecules and they are biosimilar because they are made from the living organisms and not from small-molecule generics.

This approval of the new drug in the markets uses a new regulatory pathway which has been set by FDA in hope of increasing the competition in the market. This approval highlights the FDA’s longstanding commitment to support the competitive market for the insulin products. Dr. Patrick Archdeacon, the associate director for the therapeutics in the FDA’s division of Diabetes, Obesity, and Lipid Disorder said in a press release.

Competition, certainly will not lower the prices

Unlike the generic drug, Semglee might not be the cheaper alternative. There are currently three long-acting insulins in the market scenario. Two of the companies are owned by the same manufacturer and the third one is a ‘branded generic’. “It is somehow lack in the competition within the insulin markets and the new products will unlikely to be less expensive”, said by Dr. Jessica Nouhavandi, a lead pharmacist and the co-founder of online pharmacy Honeybee Health.

PM Narendra Modi Used Same Lines before Surgical Strikes”, Ladakh MP warned China

Leh: The time to send a strong message to China has come and India must have to take back the Aksai Chin region occupied by the force of Chinese since 1962 war. This statement was said by the BJP leader Jamyang Tsering Namgyal told NDTV on the Thursday morning.

People of the Ladakh region, where 20 soldiers of the Indian Army including one Colonel died in the clash with the Chinese troops wants a “one-time solution”, Mr Namgyal added. He also said pointing to Narendra Modi that his response was quite similar to the words he addresses before the Indian forces that carried out surgical strikes against the Pakistani terrorist launch pad in 2016 Uri attack.

Namgyal also said that the people of Ladakh are standing with the army and the country and also will stand-by the decisions made by the government as they want a one-time solution. It is not only the people of Ladakh but the entire country wants a one-time solution, he added.

In addition, Namgyal said that we don’t want our soldiers to lose their lives repeatedly and the disturbances to the life of the civilians along the border and this is the main reason that we want a one-time solution to end this dispute.

It has remained as a habit of Chinese to cheat. They have cheated us since 1962. They have cheated India not only once but hundreds of times. In the 1962 war, Chinese took 37,244 sq. km from us and that now is known as the Aksai Chin which feels strange. Perhaps, it is not Aksai Chin but China-Occupied Indian Territory, Namgyal added.

“It will always remain a part of claim that China-occupied Ladakh. People from all across the country question whether it is possible to take it back from China. Yes, of course I don’t consider that easy but I also doesn’t consider it impossible. We have seen the clashes and with the sacrifice of our soldiers, the time has come to take back the Aksai Chin”, he added. He also warned China for a strong response from the Indian side over this week of violence because India is a peace-loving country and is capable of giving befitting reply, if provoked. For the latest updates, stay tuned with The TLC News

Ladakh face-off – China agrees to de-escalate: Report

China and India agreed not to escalate the matter along the LAC on Wednesday followed by a conversation between the Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar and the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Li.

There are stark differences remained on both the sides described by the unprecedented clash that claimed the lives of 20 Indian Soldiers in the violence on June 15 along-side the border since 1967.

Upon following the protocol, it was agreed between both the sides to deal in a “responsible manner” and neither will take any action to escalate the matter and should ensure peace and tranquility as per the bilateral agreements, said by the Minister of External Affairs.

A statement was also issued by the China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beijing quoting that both sides have agreed “to cool down the situation”. “Both sides agreed to deal fairly that has been caused by the conflict in the Galwan Valley, abiding the consensus reached at military level meetings to maintain peace and tranquility”, said in the statement.

Monday’s clash has triggered by a dispute over the process of disengagement that had been agreed on June 6. Mr. Jaishankar has “delivered the protest of the Govt. of India and also underlined that this approach of the Chinese will have a serious impact on their bilateral relationship”.

The Indian Ministers have also said that the Chinese forces has continued its building infrastructures in the Indian side of Line of Actual Control (LAC), violating the agreement and attacked the Indian soldiers in a very planned manner. In addition the Minister said that building the infrastructure in the LAC side of India has resulted in the dispute and is directly responsible for the resulting casualties and violence.

In Beijing, the Foreign Minister of China accused India “deliberately provoking” the clash and openly breaking consensus of June 6. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Li said that “after the Galwan Valley situation was calmed down, the Indian front-line troops crossed LAC again, provoked and violently attacked their officers and soldiers. This resulted in casualties and fierce physical clash between both the forces. This dangerous behavior of the Indian Army has violated the basic norms of International Relation”, he added.
