COVID 19 LOCKDOWN Opens – Again a change in Commerce Rules, Only the Essentials to get to be Delivered: Here is, Why?

New Delhi (India): The non-essential goods supplied by the e-commerce companies will be banned till the lockdown period, said by Home Ministry today, days after the permitting the online sale of the goods like the selling of refrigerators, mobile phones, television sets, laptops, and clothes.

The order by the Home Ministry had clarified that the e-commerce companies selling the essential goods are exempted from the lockdown restrictions. However the operation of the vehicles delivering the goods will take a clearance by the administration of states and union territories.

Coronavirus Lockdown India Highlights : COVID-19

The government last week has also announced that include sale of some of the non-essential goods, through the e-commerce platforms, on a list of the services and activities which is to be allowed from April 20, mostly in the areas which are least affected by the pandemic outbreak. This decision by the Home Ministry invited criticism from Confederation of Indian Traders (CAIT).

This criticism by CAIT is because more than 40 lakh traders are supplying the essential goods since the day of lockdown announced and this came into effect. It is because the Home Ministry is side-lining them and allowing the e-commerce companies to deliver non-essential goods from April 20. The Secretary-General of CAIT, Praveen Khandelwal, told news agency ANI.

E-commerce Companies Providing Limited Services

According to Praveen Khandelwal, “When the lockdown was announced, these e-commerce were not in function. We want to know that what kind of necessities has arose for which they have been given permission. Though, we have no objection if those have been given permission to provide the essentials, but why not non-essential goods,” he asked.

The Defense Minister, Rajnath Singh led a meeting with the concerned to discuss re-starting the selected economic activities and the services in non-containment zones, to boost the economy which was flattering. After the meeting, the government released list of activities and the services will be start function from 20 April in the states and the areas which are less affected by the coronavirus hotspot and not in the areas of coronavirus hotspots, the government cautioned.

The guidelines on re-opening some of the sectors and allow activities in non-affected areas came after 2nd lockdown order from the Prime Minister till 3rd May. After video meeting with 13 Chief-Ministers pointed the impact on economy due to lock down, this decision came.

Although this lockdown is in the good favor side by the government saving lakhs of lives. The center claimed 8.2 lakh could have been infected, otherwise. This certainly hit the economy of the country hard, IMF has said to be expected economy grow by 1.9 percent this year.

You also wash your hands frequently and disinfect the “high-contact” surfaces like the countertops and the doorknobs, when you get at home. But, there is a feeling of nag that even you are maintaining a good hygiene, you are worried about the things which you have brought home with you. There is a question in your mind that “are the groceries safe”? What about your shoes and clothes?

It is an inevitable truth that clothes and shoes must be taken care off while shopping.

Clothes at Low Risks:

There is a lot of things which we don’t know about this pandemic coronavirus and day-by-day we are learning more about it. If you are having a quick visit to grocery store, it is highly unlikely that you will be getting infected by the COVID-19 via your shoes and clothes. Clothes and shoes are not a significant source of transmission of COVID-19, by “Dr. Vincent Hsu”, MPH, a certified board of internal medicine, infectious disease, and the preventive physician at AdventHealth in Orlando. Extra Precaution with Clothes:

The average visit to grocery stalls should not necessitate doing the laundry of your clothes, if you are following the preventive measures by keeping social-distancing. But the situation can become worse if someone has sneezed or coughed in your direct vicinity, then washing the clothes would be a great idea. But in general, one should take care on the other areas of hygiene that is keeping your hands clean by washing at certain intervals and not touching your face and nose will be more effective than laundry.

What About the Shoes we Wear?

Shoes by their nature are dirtier than clothes and are more likely to carry the bacteria with them. Most of the health workers agree that the shoes are unlikely source of transmission of the disease. What we do is actually protective. We keep our shoes outside and we don’t put our socks to the kitchen shelf or drawer. Shoes are also very far away to get touches by our mouth or nose.

The Deadliest Day of Spain: As Corona Virus Lockdown

The Deadliest Day of Spain

Madrid, Spain: As the pandemic Corona killed a count of 849 in Spain in one day. There were the signs of unrest as the crack-down aimed at reducing the death occur and binding the limitations of the infection spreading in the country. It a matter of immense tension to the government. The Health Authority announced that “Tuesday” is the deadliest day of Spain, since the pandemic disease began. This has been bringing the frim tally of the fatalities to a count of 8,189.

Milan. Green Cross volunteers and health workers intervene with the 118 emergency calls on the cases of COVID19 coronavirus preparation and transport to hospital. In the photo the long dressing and preparation of disposable materials and anti COVID19 coverall.

Another 9,222 people in the country have been tested positive for the virus and confined the cases to 94,417. This count of people who have been tested positive is more than that of China’s 82,240 but less than Italy’s 100,000.

For the advancement of grief, Spain is on its third week of lockdown. The police has arrested hundreds and fined for flouting the orders. The police were also accused of using violence in order to enforce the strict restrictions on mobility. This is done because under the Spain’s State of Emergency Regulation, the citizen can go out to buy food alone, seek the medical care or if one has to work in the essential industries.

Why are death Count Rising Quickly in Spain:

Granada, Spain: Since the coronavirus state of alert ordered by government on March 14, the citizens applaud the country’s medical workers. But the hopeful image of the people seemed not to dim the pain and the Death Troll reached to 769 on Friday. Thus bringing the total number of fatalities to 5000.

Fresh Cases Report: The coronavirus pandemic has dropped from the record total on Thursday from 8,578 to 7,871 on Friday. But when looking at the scenario, both the numbers are worse than a week ago when the count was around 2,833. When checking the fact, comparing with Italy where more than 8 percent of the health workers are infected, that tally stood at 16.5 percent in Spain.

Now the question arises why the death count are progressive in Spain?

There are Multiple Factors for this issue which has been arised. First is the medical facility which is uneven and depleted resources for tackling this problem. Secondly, as recent on Wednesday, The Center for Disease Prevention and Control in Europe has pointed that the pandemic COVID-19, depends on the level of preparation of the country and the protective measures taken according to Silvia Carlos Chilleron, a professor in Public Health department.
