The Rajya Sabha of the Country has launched the new Election Laws {Amendment} bill 2021 on Monday which will be taken up in Rajya Sabha will involve various electoral reforms that have been getting discussed for a long time.

According to the Information provided by the government sources, if a person wants to register its name to the electoral roll then it will be done on the basis of the application submitted by the person who is eligible to get registered as a voter. Another specification of the Election Laws amendment bill is that for the purpose of getting its identity the individual must have to submit their Aadhaar card number along with the application and have to submit it in the branch.
This election law is also going to play a major role in solving one of the most major problems held during Election time which is the management of the electoral data that is the enrollment of the name of the same person for multiple times at different places.
Hence as a result from now no one will be able to enroll their name at multiple places.
