The civilians of Nagaland were protesting against the armed forces of the state for the drastic incident that had happened last week due to the misunderstanding of the soldiers which has taken the life of 14 Civilians.
This protest of the civilians is now spreading across the whole state as they were all expecting that the government will deliver justice to the victims of the incident.
The groups who were protesting
The Konyak Naga tribe which is ruling the district where the incident has happened along with another organization representing the Naga tribe of 5 districts have declared a boycott call and stated that they will continue the protests until the government will not fulfill their requirements or give justice to the deceased persons of the drastic incident.Â
ENPO’s demand
The association named Eastern Nagaland People Organisation {ENPO} which is representing Mon, Tuensang, Longleng, Kiphire and Noklak districts of Nagaland has make a demand to the government authority that the indicts of the incidents should be taken under the country’s relevant law and a special investigation team should be appointed for the probe of this case.
The armed forces of Nagaland have expressed deep regrets for the people who have lost their life in this incident and assured that this matter would be investigated at the highest level.
