Coronavirus Live update: As COVID-19 virus is infecting our country day by day today we can see a record high death rise of coronavirus. 4,205 deaths are been recorded by health ministry, highest Ever recorded since the pandemic has started with fresh cases. This is the third in the span of 10 days as India has officially recorded more than 4000 deaths in 24 hours. India has recorded more than 4000 deaths on May 8, May 9 and today on the second consecutive days.
Maharashtra has topped the tally with over 800 deaths, other states such as Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Karnataka has also recorded over 200 deaths per day.
So far as the fresh cases are concerned,The tally shows a slight increase in cases as compared to yesterday. 3.48 lakhs new Covid-19 cases are been recorded all over India in last 24 hours said Health ministry bulletin. While the overall tally has seen a slight decrease but the state wise Covid-19 tracker shows no improvement in the situation.
Over 500 districts are reporting over a 10% positivity rate. While Puducherry reports over 2,707 new positive cases, 1,247 recoveries and over 27 deaths in last 24 hours. Active cases at 15,562 and total cases are 77,031.
Union health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan held a meeting today, with the health ministry of some states who lagging behind due to Covid-19 virus Vaccination, Dr. Harsh Vardhan will be meeting the health minister of Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Telangana.
