In accordance with the increasing number of COVID cases throughout the country and also after getting the information from some resources that around 96% of the total number of patients hospitalized in Mumbai due to COVID and those who were in Oxygen bed haven’t got their proper vaccination doses yet the health minister of the state Maharashtra Rajesh Tope have requested the state Government to impose a night curfew from 11 PM to 5 AM.
The minister is still waiting for Uddhav Thackeray, the chief minister of the state to give approval to the decision of imposing a night curfew.
Know the decision made by the Government last week
For the purpose of having a control over the spreading of this virus the state government of Maharashtra has declared that more than 50 persons will not be allowed in any kind of marriage or other festivals held in open spaces, funerals should not have more than 20 individuals and have also imposed section 144 on the tourist places and other spots where a large number of people were expected to be gathered. The restrictions made by the state government on midnight of 31st of Dec will be continued till further orders by the government.
