Inauguration of the Saryu Nahar National project will be held today by PM Narendra Modi

For the purpose of solving the Irrigation problem of Eastern Uttar Pradesh and also for showing his love towards the citizens of the country Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the Saryu National Project in the Balrampur District of poll bound state of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi added that this project was remained incomplete since the last four decades has been finished within 4 years only under the ministry of the BJP government. PM also added that the total cost of the project was Rs 9,800 crore and among this total amount of money more than Rs 4,600 crore was provisioned in the last four years.

According to the Information given by the PMO {Prime Minister’s Office} the completion of this project is going to be very beneficial for the farmers of the state as it is going to provide assured water for irrigation over 14 lakh hectares of land and around 29 lakh farmers belonging to 6,200 villages of the country will be benefitted by this project. The project will interlink five rivers named Saryu, Ghaghara, Rapti, Banganga and Rohini. The government of Uttar Pradesh has said that this project is going to be the most important pledge of the BJP government that they have done to the farmers to double their income by the year 2022.
