New Discharge Rules of the hospitals of Karnataka

Karnataka has become the first state of the country to record Omicron Positive cases. The first is a 66 year old man and another one is a 46 year old doctor of Bangalore.

In order of providing safety to the persons outside the health department of Karnataka have taken a decision to impose discharge rules over the patients who were hospitalized and are going to get discharged. This decision is going to be effective for the people outside as now there will be no doubt that the recovered persons are still affected or not.

The rules imposed by the health department of Karnataka over the discharged people were mentioned below

The individual who is going to get a discharge from the hospital should be recorded symptom free for the last three consecutive days.

The individual should have an oxygen level of more than 95 percent for four consecutive days.

The individual must have two negative RTPCR reports within two alternative days.

The discharged candidates must have to be in home quarantine for 7 days they can come out from self-isolation if the RT – PCR report of the sixth day of the individual’s quarantine comes out to be negative.
