7 new fresh cases of Omicron positive people were detected in Maharashtra including a 3 years old girl, among these 7 cases, 3 cases were detected in Mumbai.
About the new cases detected in India
The people who got affected by this new strain have a travel history of UK, Tanzania and South Africa where the rate of Omicron positive patients is quite high these days. These new cases have raised the Omicron positive cases of Mumbai up to 5, now the Omicron cases of, Maharashtra have raised up to 17 while the total cases of the Omicron positive patients of the country have now raised to 32.
According to the information given by the Press Trust of India the Mumbai Police authority has put some restrictions on the gathering people for two days but this might extend for more time if the rate of people getting Omicron positive will not come in control.
The government authorities of India are taking all the necessary precautions for providing safety to the citizens of the country, but if this condition will not come in control then it will be the last option for the government to impose lockdown on the people of the country.
