Rajasthan – Congress Rushes Saving its Flock ahead on Thursday

The ruling Congress Party of Rajasthan shifted all the MLA’s and the independent legislators to a private resort in the outskirts of Jaipur on Thursday heading the Rajya Sabha Elections of June 19.

The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sri Ashok Gehlot alleged that BJP was giving lucrative offers of crores of rupees to the legislators of congress in order to exchange sides.

With the coming sight of trouble in Rajasthan on Wednesday, Congress sent its party observer Randeep Surjewala and the All India Congress Committee Rajasthan in-charge Avinash Pandey to interact with the MLA’s.

Mr. Gehlot also convened meeting in a luxury resort in the evening and charges that the BJP is attempting to destabilize the State Government. The MLA’s were also asked to stay at the resort only till the polling day for the Rajya Sabha Elections but the insiders of the party claimed that there would be no restrictions on the movements.

Mr. Surjewala said that the repeated disregard of the public mandate has become the BJP’s character and also added that the BJP’s attempt to topple the Congress and the Gehlot Government would definitely not succeed.

On speaking to the reporters outside the resort Mr. Pandey expresses the government stability and alleged that BJP was indulging in its wicked designs for the past two months. Ahuge amount of money has also been transferred in order to make “lucrative offers” to the Congress MLA’s.

Mr. Pandey said that “what BJP is doing is mockery of democracy”. “Despite of the COVID-19 pandemic, they are plotting graph to fall the governments in the Opposition-Ruled states. After Goa, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh, now they have turned their attention towards Rajasthan”.

Mr. Gehlot said that what is the difference in the cOVID-19 situation between then and now? Their politics by indulging in Horse-Trading will not succeed in Rajasthan and the BJP has violated all the norms of democracy.

State BJP President Satish Poonia said that “the Congress should set its own house in order first and instead of blaming BJP, they should remove and resolve the internal differences in their party”.For the latest updates, stay tuned to The TLC News
