Moscow (Russia): Russia declared itself to be the first country to approve COVID vaccine with President Vladimir Putin said one of his daughters being inoculated.
By introducing the Vaccine “Sputnik V” after the Soviet-era satellite launched into space, Russian officials said it provided stable immunity, safe, and denounced Western attempts to undermine the research.

Scientists of the west have raised concerns about the speedy trails and development of the Russian Vaccines, suggested that the researches might be cutting the corners and will come under pressure from the authorities to deliver. The World Health Organisation (WHO) gave the stamp of approval on the COVID-19 Vaccine.
According to WHO, said that “we are in close contact with the Russian Health authorities and discussions are continuously going on”, said UN Agency’s spokesperson Tarik Jasarevic in Geneva, Switzerland.
Putin in a video-conference with government ministers said that “this morning for the first time in the world, a vaccine for COVID was registered” and I know it is quite effective and gives sustainable immunity.
The President said that one of his daughters has been inoculated with the new vaccine, developed by Gamaleya Research Institute in accord with the Russian Defence Ministry and other government bodies. Putin said “in this sense my daughter took a part in the experiment and she had a slight temperature after the second injection, and that’s all”.
Putin in an interview said that he along with his foreign partners are ready to manufacture 500 million doses per year in five countries. He added that we should leave politics behind and enjoy this moment. We are not forcing this coronavirus vaccine to anyone.
