Around 10 students were Jailed at the Sabarmati Central Jail since the last four days after they have protest against the government authority, as the question paper of the entrance exam for appointing the head clerks at the Government sectors was leaked. The protest was held outside the BJP headquarters in Punjab by the students against the leak of the exam paper.
According to the information given by the Aam Aadmi Party Leaders and the court documents, the ten students who got arrested by the police were among the 93 Aam Aadmi Party members locked at the Jail in Ahmedabad.

The students who got arrested by the police were taken under section 22 of the Indian Penal Code which includes the criminal conspiracy and sections of the epidemic diseases act and Prevention of Damage to Public Property act. Out of the ten students arrested 6 were between the age of 18 – 19 whereas four students were from the AAP’s student wing Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti.
