The IMD predicted heavy rainfall in Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh

The IMD {Indian Meteorological Department} has made a statement regarding the weather of the states of Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh in which they have predicted that these 4 states were going to experience a very heavy rainfall for a period of 3 days that is from 13th of January to 14th of January.

About the alerts Imposed by the IMD on the states

This heavy rainfall will be mainly due to the western disturbances. The government has announced Yellow Warning on the regions where rain is expected from 11th of January to 13th of January, The Indian Meteorological Department has given this information on Sunday .

Orange warning was imposed in Odisha by the Indian Meteorological Department on 11th and 12th of January. The states Odisha, Chandigarh and Jharkhand might also witness hailstorm on 11TH of January according to the reports by IMD.

This heavy rainfall might lead to flooding in many village areas of the states. The people of the states were suggested to stay mostly in their home during the predicted days of the Indian Meteorological Department.
