The Mayor of Mumbai made COVID 19 vaccine compulsory for the citizens

On Tuesday, Kishori Pednekar Mayor of Mumbai city has said that the government authority will make the COVID 19 Vaccines mandatory for all the citizens for the purpose of providing security to the people of the country from being COVID positive.

She also stated that the individuals who will not follow the COVID protocol and will be found unvaccinated will have to charge for it. She also informed us that the medical authorities have already started to quarantine the people who have returned back from European Countries. After getting the confirmation that the city of Mumbai hasn’t registered any Omicron cases yet, Pednekar has informed us that all the people who have returned back from European Countries will have to go through a quarantine of 1 week, and when this quarantine period will be over the individual will have to go through a COVID test again.

Rajesh tope’s view

A senior official of the city civic body has said that a total of 1000 travellers have landed in Mumbai last night from African Countries. And as a response to this, the Maharashtra health minister Rajesh Tope said that the government should have to ban International bans for the countries so that the people will not get affected by the 3rd wave of Covid.
