The resources provided the information that the World Health Organization has given approval to two new types of treatment for treating the COVID positive patients throughout the world as the number of Positive cases was again increasing day by day due to this new variant of COVID named Omicron.

The arthritis Drug Baricitinib along with the Synthetic Body Treatment Sotrovimab was having a recommendation from the World Health Organization to avert the serious illness and death from the COVID 19. Baricitinib was strongly recommended by the World Health Organization for the purpose of using it as an alternative with regard to interleukin 6 which work for blocking the receptors when combined with corticosteroids for the purpose of treating severe or critical COVID patients hospitalized.
The organization also made it clear that the use of this above-mentioned combination that is Baricitinib with Corticosteroids will result in an increase in the recovery rate of the COVID positive patients and will also decrease the need of ventilators for the patients.

“ The strong recommendation for Baricitinib in those with severe or critical illness reflects moderate certainty evidence for benefits on mortality, duration of mechanical ventilation and hospital length of stay{ high certainty} with no observe increase in adverse effects leading to drug discontinuation”
