As the number of COVID positive patients in the country has again started increasing, the State Government of Jammu and Kashmir has taken a decision to impose complete restrictions on citizens of the state during the weekends.
Reports given by the Disaster management of the state
This decision was taken by the government as a total number of 2,456 new fresh cases of COVID was detected in the Union Territory on Friday which is the highest recorded in a gap of one day since the pandemic began. The Department of Disaster management, Relief, Rehabilitation, and Reconstruction of the state reported.
Precautionary measures taken by the State Government of Jammu and Kashmir
The events where usually people used to gather like marriages and other celebrations were allowed to have only 25 people whereas only 25 people who have taken their vaccination were allowed to gather in the Banquet halls with a negative RT – PCR Report taken 72 hours before.
The Government has also ordered the District Magistrates to look over the people on a daily basis to check if they were following the rules or not and also asked them to submit a report on the same.
