Again Delhi has Lockdown for weekends: The Delhi chief minister Mr. Arvind Kejriwal has said that the curfew passes will be issued essential services.
New Delhi:Â Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced a weekend curfew in Delhi as the ever-increasing corona virus cases. On Thursday, Arvind Kejriwal held a meeting with Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on the condition of Corona virus, after which the decision to implement the weekend curfew was taken.
Following this decision by the Kejriwal government:
The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has made e-passes mandatory for people traveling in the capital during the weekend curfew. The DDMA has clearly stated that only those connected with essential services during the weekend curfew will be allowed to travel without e-pass.
The two types of E-Pass will issued during the weekend curfew in Delhi:
First category – E-passes will be given to those who want to go to the doctor or hospital as an emergency, or those who have to go out to get any necessary items.
Second category – People who are engaged in the delivery of essential services inside or outside Delhi will be given e-passes.
Where the E-Passes are available Online:
There are three websites for Applying e-passes. If you want to go out of any important work during the weekend curfew in Delhi, then you have to apply for the e-pass online. The e-pass can be obtained online through the website epass.jantasamvad.org, www.delhipolice.nic.in and delhi.gov.in.
Important Notice : If you already hold a night-curfew ePass, you DO NOT have to re-apply for the weekend curfew. Your pass shall automatically be considered valid during the weekend (in the day-time).
How to apply E-pass for Weekend curfue see the below steps :
Step 1- Click Apply for E-Pass
Step 2- Fill all the details like name, Full Address, Mobile No., Where you want to go with the full address, Full details of emergency services you want with date.
Step 3- Upload your identity like visiting card, business licence.
Step 4 – Tick the check box for agree all term & condition
Step 5- Once complete all the details after that You will receive an acknowledgement receipt & check the status.
Step 6 – This E-Pass will provide only those people who have to provide essential services or who need the services but they don’t have any government id.
Limited Service open in weekend curfew?
1: – Cinema halls will open with 30 Percent entry people according to their total capacity.
2: – In every zone, only one market open weekly will be allowed to open every day.
3: – Restaurants and hotels will only be able to deliver food, not to sit inside.
4: – whose marriage is already scheduled during the weekend curfew, passes will be given to them.
5: – Apart from this, there is no restriction on inter-state transport of essential and non-essential goods. There is no need for any e-pass for people associated with such services.
E-Pass Not Required For below Condition:
- Pregnant women and patients for getting medical/health services.
- On production of valid I card All private medical personnel such as doctors, nursing staff, paramedical, etc. and other hospital services (such as hospitals, diagnostic centres, clinics, pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies and other medical & health services) .
- On production of valid ticket Person coming from/going to Airports/Railway stations/ISBTs allowed to travel .
- On production of valid I card All Judicial officers / officials of courts of Delhi.
- On production of valid I card Officers/officials related to functioning of offices of Diplomats of various countries as well as persons holding any constitutional post.
- On production of valid I card Electronic and Print Media.
- On production of valid I card
- Health and Family Welfare and all related establishments,
- Police, Prisons, Home Guards, Civil Defence, Fire and emergency services
- District Administration, Pay & Account Office,
- Electricity, Water and Sanitation,
- Public Transport (Air/Railways/Buses) including all incidental services/activities essential for smooth functioning of all modes of public transport (such as handling of cargo, ticketing, air freight station, CFS, ICD etc.).
- Disaster Management and related services,
- NIC, NCC and Municipal services, and all other essential services.
- Inter-state and intra-state movement/transportation of essential/non-essential goods.
