IMD Reported: A Western Disturbance might affect Northwest India from January 6

The Indian Meteorological Department has given the information that an Intense Western Disturbance is going to affect Northwest India From the night of 6th January 2022 in a recent tweet on their official Twitter handle.

Know what the Indian Meteorological Department has tweeted

“Thereafter, an intense Western Disturbance is very likely to affect Northwest India from the night of 06th January 2022 onwards.”

According to this information given by the Indian Meteorological Department it can be assumed that heavy rainfall is going to prompt several parts of the Country. Whereas the IMD has further reported prior to these with regard to the Cyclonic circulation that is going to generate over the Southwest Coast of Rajasthan and in its nearby places at 7th of January 2022.

The IMD has also reported that under the pressure of the fresh western Disturbance and the widespread rainfall the western Himalayan region might experience a snowfall between 7th of January and 9th of January.

“Isolated heavy rainfall/snowfall likely over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad on 07th & 08th and over Himachal Pradesh & Uttarakhand on 08th January, 2022”.
